Strasbourg’s head coach, Liam Rosenior, has committed to the Ligue 1 club until June 2028, expressing his confidence in building a successful team. Rosenior, who succeeded Patrick Vieira last July, has made a positive impact in his first season, guiding Strasbourg to seventh place and a potential European qualification spot.
In a statement on the official Strasbourg website, Rosenior expressed his pride in extending his contract, highlighting the renewed confidence shown by the club’s president, Marc Keller. “Signing for Racing is the best decision of my career, and it’s a source of immense pride to extend my contract here,” Rosenior said. “I want to repay that confidence on the pitch.”
Rosenior emphasized his alignment with the club’s values of intensity, courage, and unity, stating, “From the moment I arrived, I recognised myself in the values that make the people of Strasbourg and Alsace so strong.” He added that the team will continue to work towards progress while staying true to its identity.

Keller praised Rosenior, saying, “Liam perfectly embodies our sporting vision and Racing’s values. He makes our supporters proud by offering an attractive game, driven by total commitment and a team that never gives up.” Keller highlighted the importance of stability on the bench during this pivotal phase, including the renovation of the Meinau stadium and building a team with European ambitions.
With Rosenior at the helm, Strasbourg aims to make a strong push for European qualification and establish itself as a competitive force in Ligue 1.
