Everton interested in Richarlison as work being done, Tottenham open to sale – report

Everton could look to re-sign Richarlison from Tottenham during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Brazilian forward left the Toffees in 2022, but has struggled to make an impact at the North London club since then.

After battling injuries at Spurs in recent years, Richarlison might be open to a return to Goodison Park.

Everton are in need of a striker, especially with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s contract set to expire at the end of the season.

Everton Eyeing Richarlison Transfer

According to TBR Football, Everton is interested in bringing the 27-year-old back if he is willing to make the move next summer.

The report (dated March 5) suggests the Toffees are exploring potential options as they look to sign a new centre-forward soon.

Everton still holds Richarlison in high regard, with Tottenham reportedly prepared to sell the Brazilian striker.

Bramley Moore Dock Could Welcome Richarlison’s Return

David Moyes has raised expectations at Goodison Park since taking over from Sean Dyche in January.

Under Dyche, the Toffees seemed destined for a relegation battle, but Moyes has quickly turned the team’s fortunes around.

This is especially impressive given that Beto has been the only fit natural striker in recent weeks, with Calvert-Lewin sidelined by injury.

Armando Broja and Youssef Chermiti have also had limited playing time this season due to fitness problems, making Moyes’ achievements all the more remarkable.

Everton is unbeaten in their last six Premier League matches and now hold a 15-point lead over 18th-place Ipswich Town.

Kevin Thelwell is set to depart at the end of the season, and it remains to be seen whether his replacement will pursue a move for Richarlison.

Despite Richarlison’s injury issues at Tottenham, Everton still needs a more dependable forward.

While Richarlison would be warmly welcomed back at Bramley Moore Dock, the Toffees may want to explore other potential options before pursuing him.
