Beto spots something ‘similar’ he absolutely loves about Goodison Park and Everton’s new stadium

Beto has finally found his feet at Everton and his bond with the Evertonians has emerged.

It seems like all the Everton striker needed was a change in manager and that’s exactly what has happened with David Moyes.

Beto has been so encouraging with five Premier League goals in five games, but he didn’t have the best of days against Brentford.

Everton fans saw ‘old Beto’ vs Brentford which may be a concern, but it’s up to the striker to get back on track.

Nevertheless, he has been excellent since Sean Dyche’s departure, and can’t wait for his future with the club which also includes Everton’s new stadium.

Beto spots something he loves about Everton’s new stadium

Goodison Park has been the home of Everton for 133 years but it will come to an emotional end this campaign.

Beto has only experienced two of these seasons, but can’t deny his love for the stadium and Seamus Coleman will cry according to Beto when the ground has its final showing.

However, Beto might be amongst the tears after what he said about the Toffees fanbase and Goodison itself.

Beto was asked by Everton’s club media, how having the fans close to the pitch will be pivotal for the Toffees.

“Yeah, it’s crucial. It’s crucial,” Beto said.

“To play against us at Goodison you need to get through the atmosphere, the fans and the fans are a big factor in the way we play at home.

“This new stadium is similar – It’s close, and I know it’s going to be loud.”

After an uncertain future at Everton, Beto is here to stay

It seemed like Dyche would get his wish as Beto was set to leave Everton.

This became more apparent as Beto had his bags packed but Moyes has become the striker’s saviour.

The environment has completely changed for the Guinea-Bissau international, and he hinted at if he will be playing in the new stadium.

At the start of the interview, Beto said: “I’m excited to see how it’s going to be, with a full stadium and how loud it’s going to be. So I’m excited.”

This already says what you need to know, as instead of forcing an exit, Everton may try to keep hold of Beto if his form continues.
