Danny Welbeck’s lackluster performance in Brighton’s 2-1 victory over Bournemouth has raised concerns about the striker’s form and fitness.

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler was less than impressed with Welbeck’s display, saying: “Danny Welbeck didn’t have his best game. He’s a player who can make a big impact, but today he didn’t have the same level of performance as some of the other players.”
Welbeck’s poor form is a concern for Brighton, who will be looking to him to provide goals and creativity in the coming weeks. The striker has scored just two goals in his last 10 appearances for the club, and his lack of form is starting to raise questions about his place in the team.
