Leeds United are moving swiftly to finalize a deal for OGC Nice left-back Melvin Bard before the transfer window closes at 11 PM. The Whites have struck an agreement on a loan-to-buy deal, with the optional permanent transfer valued at just over £5 million next summer.
The urgency stems from key defensive injuries at Elland Road. Center-back Joe Rodon remains sidelined, while fellow left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson is only just returning from a hamstring strain. Journalist Mike McGrath confirmed the 25-year-old Frenchman is currently traveling to England to complete his medical, providing crucial depth for manager Daniel Farke.
