Unai Emery to get best out of the experience star as Aston Villa ready expensive transfer

Aston Villa are eager to secure the services of Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix, but the transfer will not come cheap. The Portuguese attacker has been identified as the “dream” target to replace Moussa Diaby, who is departing for the Saudi Pro League.

According to Bryan King, a former Villa scout, Felix’s transfer will cost the club “a lot of money” before the August 30 deadline. King praised Villa manager Unai Emery for his role in pursuing Felix, citing his experience working with the player in La Liga.

“Emery knows this player, and I’m sure he can continue to get the best out of him,” King said. “To be backed by the club, that’s what managers need. It’s a lot of money, but they’ve sold players for a lot of money and are bringing in a very good mix.”

Felix’s potential transfer has been described as a risk for Villa due to his recent form and high costs. However, Emery’s influence and the club’s willingness to spend big may just persuade the Portuguese star to join the Villa Park ranks.

With Champions League football secured for the new season, Villa’s owners, NSWE, are ready to invest in top talent. The club has already made significant signings, including Amadou Onana, and Felix could be the next big name to join the squad.

Villa’s interest in Felix is not surprising, given his impressive skills and goal-scoring record. The 24-year-old has netted 34 goals in 131 appearances for Atletico Madrid, and his versatility and creativity on the pitch would make him a valuable addition to Emery’s team.

However, the transfer is complicated by Felix’s high price tag and the interest from other clubs, including Barcelona. Villa will need to move quickly to secure the deal, but Emery’s reputation and the club’s ambition may just give them the edge they need.

As the transfer window heats up, Villa fans will be eagerly awaiting any developments on Felix’s potential move. With the club’s sights set on a top-six finish and a deep run in the Champions League, signing a player of Felix’s caliber would be a significant statement of intent.
