Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano stated: “What I can tell you is Tottenham want to do something important in midfield. They are working on that position, and they will be busy with several other things in the next few weeks of the window.”

Although manager De Zerbi has publicly expressed his desire to retain João Palhinha at Tottenham, the club faces uncertainty regarding the 30-year-old’s future.
