Everton set sights on two strikers after Calvert-Lewin update – sources

Everton are aiming to sign two new strikers in the upcoming summer transfer window, sources have informed Football Insider.

The club is preparing bold moves for what will be their first major transfer window under The Friedkin Group’s ownership, with preparations also underway for their relocation to a new stadium ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Identifying two forwards as top priorities, Everton are planning for life without Dominic Calvert-Lewin, whose contract expires this summer and is expected to leave.



As reported by Football Insider on Thursday (10 April), Newcastle United are “very keen” on acquiring Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer.

Calvert-Lewin and Broja poised to exit

In addition to Calvert-Lewin’s likely departure, Armando Broja is set to return to Chelsea following the conclusion of his loan. Doubts also remain over Beto and Youssef Chermiti’s long-term suitability for the squad.

With their Premier League status secured for another season, Everton are ready to invest significantly in revamping their attacking lineup.

The young forward has impressed during his debut Premier League season under Kieran McKenna, tallying 12 goals and two assists in 33 appearances across all competitions.
