“Enough is enough”- Postecoglou losing supporters as Wolves loss worsens hold on Tottenham job

Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou remains under serious threat of losing his job at the end of the season.

The Australian coach has been on the brink of being sacked for several months, as growing frustration among fans over his decisions both on and off the pitch continues to mount.

Spurs have managed just two wins in their last nine matches across all competitions, with victories only coming against Southampton and AZ Alkmaar. Sunday’s clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers, considered the perfect opportunity to build momentum ahead of the Europa League quarter-final second leg against Eintracht Frankfurt, ended in a disappointing 4-2 defeat at Molineux.

This result further highlights Tottenham’s poor form. They have now suffered a staggering 17 Premier League losses this season. The pressure on Postecoglou is intensifying, and his relationship with the fanbase has significantly deteriorated, with several incidents of heated exchanges between the 59-year-old and supporters.

The club’s continued inconsistency has led to growing calls from fans for chairman Daniel Levy to dismiss the Greek-Australian coach. At this point, it’s difficult to envision a scenario where Postecoglou retains his role at Tottenham.

Speaking live on TalkSPORT on Monday, host Jim White shared insights he gathered during the first leg against Frankfurt at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium:
“I listened to them on Thursday. I was in a box with some serious moneyed people and they were saying, ‘enough is enough’,” White revealed.

This week could prove decisive for Postecoglou’s future. Tottenham face Frankfurt in Germany for the return leg of their Europa League quarter-final—a match that may define their entire season. Winning the Europa League would not only offer a rare highlight in an otherwise disappointing campaign but also secure Champions League football next year.

Nonetheless, it feels like a managerial change at Spurs is only a matter of time. Even a deep Europa League run might not be enough to save Postecoglou. All eyes will be on how the team responds to the Wolves defeat in what is undeniably the biggest match of their season.
