‘Incredible’ – BBC pundit rages at Leicester man after what happened v Everton

Stephen Warnock criticized Leicester City’s defending after Everton claimed a 4-0 victory on Saturday.

The Toffees maintained their strong form since David Moyes’ return, with goals from Abdoulaye Doucoure, Beto, and Iliman Ndiaye on February 1st.

Despite Everton’s impressive performance, it was Leicester’s defensive mistakes that Warnock highlighted during his appearance on BBC Final Score. He remarked, “That’s why Leicester are going down. You’ve got two international defenders, and they can’t even track a run or figure out where it’s coming from. I mean, where is [Jannik] Vestergaard going? The ball is bent in behind from their center-half position. It’s unbelievable.”

While Everton played well, Leicester made things easier for them with a poor display all around on Merseyside. The Foxes struggled to create any attacking threat, despite having players like Jamie Vardy, Jordan Ayew, and even Patson Daka coming off the bench.

The real issue, however, was at the back, with Wout Faes and Vestergaard taking the brunt of the criticism. As a defensive partnership, they lacked pace, which Everton exploited to score four goals.

It’s important to note that Everton thoroughly deserved their win, and the result was a well-earned three points. With upcoming matches against Bournemouth and Liverpool, attacking will be more challenging, but this victory should provide a much-needed confidence boost.
