šŸšØREPORT: Seamus Coleman says what heā€™s noticed about Iliman Ndiaye behind-the scenes at Everton is just ā€˜unbelievableā€™

Another point on the board in Evertonā€™s Boxing Day draw away to Manchester City has kept the Blues out of the bottom three.

Everton have now gone their last four games without defeat having added six points to the board over those outings.

Sean DycheĀ will be delighted with the upturn in form shown by his side considering the calibre of teams they have come up against this month.

It was a hearty display from the Toffees which sawĀ Jordan Pickford praised by Gary LinekerĀ after saving Erling Haalandā€™s penalty.

But there was another player who deserved a special mention for his showing on Thursday andĀ Seamus ColemanĀ thinks he can still improve.

What Iliman Ndiaye is like in Evertonā€™s dressing room

Over recent weeks, it has been a real team effort from the Toffees to turn around their slump with some impressive displays.

Iliman Ndiaye shone against Manchester CityĀ with Paul Robinson even suggesting he was good enough to play in their side.

However, Coleman spoke toĀ Amazon PrimeĀ after the game and admitted the Senegal international is great to have around in the dressing room.

ā€œHe is capable of lot. He is very talented and very good in the dressing room as well,ā€ said the Everton captain.

ā€œHe has unbelievable work ethic. He has that star quality and heā€™s doing very well with the help of others around him. I think he can still keep improving as well.ā€

The summer signing did come off with an issue, butĀ Ndiayeā€™s calf injury isnā€™t too seriousĀ with an early verdict provided ahead of the game against Nottingham Forest.

Although that will come as positive news to all at Everton, fans will not want to see their star man put at risk of worsening the issue if he is not completely ready to go on Sunday.

Seamus Coleman tried to put off Erling Haaland

It may have beenĀ Pickford who pulled faces to put off Erling HaalandĀ before the striker took his penalty.

However, Coleman also tried his best to get inside the Norway internationalā€™s head before he had placed the ball on the spot.

He may well have played his part in Haaland not scoring his penalty, but the Irishman had a lot to say after the game.

Coleman admitted he wasnā€™t sure about his Everton futureĀ and even suggested he thought the Toffees could have taken three points back to Merseyside.

ā€œIn the end, we could have got the three points but we are very happy with the point,ā€ he admitted
