Crystal Palace Star Offered to Turkish Giants as Pogba’s Manchester United Return Tipped

The January transfer window is fast approaching, and Crystal Palace are already being linked with a number of players. However, it appears that one of their current stars could be on his way out of Selhurst Park.

According to reports in Turkiye, Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta has been offered to Fenerbahce. The Turkish giants are said to be interested in signing the Frenchman, who has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter at Palace.

Mateta’s potential departure could be a blow to Palace, who are already struggling to find consistency in front of goal. However, it could also provide an opportunity for other players to step up and make an impact.

Meanwhile, former Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has tipped Paul Pogba to make a surprise return to Manchester United. Pogba has been linked with a number of clubs, including Newcastle United, but Sagna believes that he would be a great fit for United.

“Paul loves United,” Sagna told the Manchester Evening News. “The only problem was the situation when he came back. He will probably be willing to have a player like Paul at his training sessions. Amorim was a player himself, so I’m sure the coach will be open to seeing him getting back home because he loves United.”

Pogba’s potential return to United would be a major coup for the club, and would provide a significant boost to their midfield options. However, it remains to be seen whether a deal can be agreed, and whether Pogba would be willing to return to Old Trafford.

In other news, Fulham star Alex Iwobi has warned his teammates that they must bounce back quickly from their humbling defeat at home to Wolves. “We have to play the game for 90 minutes,” he said. “We weren’t able to keep the same form that we had in the first half, so we have to analyse and go again. We can’t dwell on this. We have to keep on going and push on.”

Iwobi’s comments come after Fulham’s disappointing defeat to Wolves, which saw them slip to 10th place in the Premier League table. However, with a number of winnable games coming up, Iwobi is confident that Fulham can turn their season around.

“We have to keep on going and push on,” he said. “Obviously, games come thick and fast, so we can put it right in the next game.”
