West Ham United Closing in on Tammy Abraham Deal

According to reports, West Ham United are nearing a deal to sign AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham. The 26-year-old has been on the Hammers’ radar for some time, and a recent report suggests that he could be available for just £21 million.

Manager Julen Lopetegui has already signed one center-forward this summer, Niclas Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund, but is keen to add more firepower to his squad. With Michail Antonio’s recent regression, Lopetegui cannot afford to rely on the 34-year-old for an extended period.

Abraham, a former Chelsea player, has proven himself at the highest level, scoring 130 goals in 339 career appearances for club and country. His addition would provide competition and cover for Fullkrug, and his physical presence would be a valuable asset to the team.

However, Abraham’s injury record is a concern, having missed 301 days of football since suffering an ACL injury in 2023. Despite this, his quality and experience make him an attractive option for West Ham.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are reportedly in talks to sign Fenerbahce’s Ferdi Kadioglu, a player West Ham have been linked with for months. The 24-year-old is valued at around £30 million and has been described as ‘outrageously amazing’ by Turkish football scouting and analysis site Emir Scouting.

Kadioglu’s technical ability and press resistance would be a valuable asset to West Ham, providing competition and cover for Emerson Palmieri. However, it seems Manchester United may beat them to his signature.”
