According to Give Me Sport, West Ham United and Crystal Palace are both keen on signing the 22-year-old and it will be interesting to see if they decide to make a bid in January.
The player has been linked with several clubs in recent weeks.
Both clubs could use more quality in the wider areas and McAtee would be a good signing.   The England U21 international is highly rated across the country and has a bright future.   With the right management, he can develop into a key player for both clubs.
The player also needs to play more regularly and a move away from Manchester City might not be a bad idea for him.   He needs to focus on his development.   Sitting on the bench of a big club probably won’t do him any good.

McAtee is unlikely to leave in January
However, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has now ruled out the player leaving in January.   The Spanish coach revealed that the player is not going anywhere and could get opportunities in the future.
“Leave? No, I don’t think so,” said Guardiola.
“Maybe it’s unfair (young players don’t get too many opportunities). Maybe I’m wrong. It’s happened before. But I had the feeling that in bad moments the players who have to show and prove who we are, the teams and what they’ve done in the past , I have to give them the keys to try and guide us to try to change the situation.
“We all have to do it, but obviously there are players who have more experience in that position. I’m not saying it won’t happen, but that’s what I’ve decided so far.
“They are always ready. Young players always have ability, they don’t hold back anything from the past, they are free and they can do it, absolutely.”
Young players have not had many opportunities at Manchester City this season, but their recent struggles have made it difficult for the manager to experiment with young players.
it will be interesting to see how the situation will develop.
