🚨BREAKING NEWS: West Ham vs Liverpool early injury news as 8 ruled out and 1 doubt

West Ham picked up a much-needed win on Boxing Day, seeing off Southampton, but they are now preparing for a much stiffer test. The Hammers take on leaders Liverpool on Sunday, a team that has only failed to win four times so far this season, losing only once.

It is a home clash for the Hammers, but they are going to have to be disciplined to keep that dangerous Reds attacking line at bay. Here we round up all the latest injury news surrounding both teams ahead of this one.

Conor Bradley – Out
Bradley is out but he is on his way back, set to return early in the new year. Arne Slot has said: “These are the two that are still ‘in the red’… they are on their way back, but they don’t [fully] train with the team yet. Sometimes, they join, and then they are not completely ready to start yet. So, let’s wait and see.”

Ibrahima Konate – Out

Konate comes under the same Slot update above. The defender is out with a knee injury, and he is expected to return early in the new year, much like Bradley.

Dominik Szoboszlai – Out (Suspeded)

Szoboszlai is suspended for one game after reaching his yellow card limit.

Max Kilman – Doubt

Kilman picked up a shoulder injury against Southampton, and despite being treated, he was not able to continue. he will be a doubt for this one as a result.

Lukasz Fabianski – Out

Fabianski picked up a scary head injury against the Saints, and this one will come too soon for him. Lopetegui has said: “I talk with him. The doctors say that he feels better and well. I am positive with him. He showed he more or less recovered his sense. I am not afraid. We feared but now he is better and it is a positive feeling because we were very worried.”

Carlos Soler – Out

Soler had to come off at half-time against Southampton with what was later confirmed as a knee injury. He will almost certainly miss this one.

Guido Rodriguez – Out (Suspended)

Rodriguez has reached his yellow card limit and he will miss this one as a result.

Soucek also reached his yellow card limit and will miss this one.

Antonio suffered a leg fracture after a car crash and required surgery. He is likely to be out for the season.
