West Ham plans lucrative bid for the signing of Matias Soule from Juventus.

West Ham United have entered the race to sign Juventus forward Matias Soule, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Hammers will be competing with Leicester City and Roma for Soule, who appears poised to leave the Serie A giants on a permanent basis.

Italian sources suggest that Juventus has not been swayed by the offers from Leicester and Roma, leaving West Ham with an opportunity to potentially secure the 21-year-old’s signature.

Juventus values Soule at £30 million this summer and has received a bid of around £23 million from Leicester, with Roma’s proposal reportedly even less appealing.

According to Tuttosport, this week will be pivotal for Soule, as West Ham is preparing to make what’s described as a ‘super offer’ for the Argentine U21 international.

However, Soule’s reported preference is to remain in Italy, with Roma seen as his top choice for the upcoming season.

Soule, who has caught the eye of West Ham and Leicester, is coming off a standout season in Serie A, tallying 11 goals and three assists in 36 appearances while on loan at Frosinone.

His impressive performances have attracted interest from multiple clubs in England and Italy as he seeks a permanent departure from Juventus, where he has been since 2020.

Soule swiftly rose through the ranks at Juventus and made his first-team debut in 2021, amassing a total of 21 appearances and scoring one goal.

Earlier this year, the Argentine expressed his ambition to play in the Premier League, describing it as a lifelong dream.

In January, despite interest from Saudi Pro League clubs, Soule dismissed the possibility of a move to the Middle East, stating unequivocally that it was not an option for him.

Despite finishing as Frosinone’s top scorer last season, Soule couldn’t prevent the club from relegation as they ended the campaign in 18th place, just one point shy of safety.
